Mini designed a ton of new sounds to go with the upcoming Cooper and Countryman EVs. Depending on the mode you’re in, you’ll get totally different sound experiences. For example, “Timeless” mode will give you a blend of noises from the classic Mini and the latest JCW GP. Meanwhile, “Balance” will try to simulate a babbling stream, chirping crickets and the rustling of treetops in the wind. “Go-Kart” features a “pronounced pitch and load curves” to make it a more dynamic noise, and “Core” is meant to give you a sense of warmth while being inviting and energetic.
